Looking for ways to slow down and get back to nature? Want to know what's growing on your doorstep - common plants you pass every day that you've simply never noticed?
Join Elspeth - passionate forager, wild food lover and member of the Association of Foragers - for a foraging walk designed for beginners looking to build confidence and deepen connection with nature. We'll explore the land, gather to enjoy foraged tea and taste a variety of syrups, vinegars and tinctures infused with wild ingredients.
What to expect on the day? A warm welcome and gentle walking over less than 0.5km! We'll be stopping frequently to get to know the plants we find on our way. The focus of the walk is on learning, not harvesting to take home but you may want to bring a small cloth bag for collecting a few samples,…
