Apple Pressing and Open Day
Sunday 8th October 2023 12pm – 4pm
Come and join us for an autumn afternoon at the garden. There will be children’s activities, apple pressing, refreshments and a chance to look around the garden and meet the volunteers. Bring your surplus apples and turn them into delicious apple juice! Please bring clean bottles to take your apple juice away. £2 per litre with our Vigo Apple Press. Entry is free, cash for homemade treats, please. BOOK HERE
Christmas Wreath Workshop
Sunday 3rd December 2023 10am – 12pm (£25 pp)
Come and join us for a workshop making beautiful natural willow wreaths with willow from the garden and sustainably foraged decorations from the local area. Refreshments will be available and we’ll light the fire bowl to keep us warm. BOOK HERE
Big Job Sundays
Come and join in to work together on a group project at the garden
From 12-4pm, bring a packed lunch. We’ll make a brew.
Work parties every Tuesday and Sunday afternoon between 2 and 5 pm
We also organise big projects such as hedge or tree planting, and wildlife surveys.
Scything course yearly. (not 2023)
Open garden with apple pressing (around the second week of October).
